Conseil n°1 : Vous n'êtes pas responsable du bonheur de votre partenaire, et inversement . Si votre partenaire semble attendre de vous que vous agissiez d'une certaine manière ou fassiez certaines choses pour le rendre heureux, c'est un signal d'alarme. Conseil n° 2 : Déterminez votre langage amoureux et communiquez-le à votre partenaire . Votre langage amoureux est la façon dont vous ressentez l'amour. Par exemple, une personne peut se sentir aimée lorsque son partenaire fait quelque chose pour elle sans qu'on lui dise quelque chose ou qu'il la touche affectueusement en dehors du plaisir sexuel. Conseil n° 3 : Soyez flexible. Une relation nécessite des compromis. Vous n'arrivez pas tous les deux à obtenir ce que vous voulez. Il est donc essentiel de faire preuve de souplesse. Discutez de ce qui compte le plus pour l'autre et de ce qui peut être priorisé. Si l'un des partenaires fait toujours des compromis, la relation deviendra tendue et des fissures apparaîtront, créant un environnement toxique à long terme.
