3 Ways to Move on After a Breakup

But, just like a bad habit, it's time to kick that ex to the curb!
And here's how you're going to do it:
1. Say yes to social situations
Breaking up with your significant other can make you feel like calling out of work, crawling into bed, putting on a sad movie, and crying all day long. Alright, you are allowed to do this for about a week, but seven days is the max!
After that, it's time to get back on the horse, so to speak. Say "yes" to going our with your friends, invite a few people over for a dinner party, walk around downtown... Just get out of the house and meet people that make you feel good.
Although easier said than done, getting out of the house is the hardest part - once you place yourself in a social setting you will see you feel so much better already!
2. Block them on social media
It's understandable that you want to check up on them to see how they are doing, but you must resist! You'll move on way faster if you give yourself fewer opportunities to think about them.
If blocking them feels too harsh (it's possible in certain situations, it does not feel right to let them know you have blocked them) at least MUTE them from Instagram. This will hide their instagram posts and stories altogether, you just have to be strong enough to not be looking them up.
